Happy New Year!...well, almost.

We would like to take a few seconds to wish all of you a very Happy New Year! We will be closed tomorrow (Friday), but we will be back open bright and early Saturday morning. We hope you all have a fantastic New Year's Eve night and look forward to seeing you all very soon in 2010!

What are you thankful for?

I know this term is something many people associate with Thanksgiving. But I'm changing things up a bit. You see, this will be my first Christmas back in Illinois since returning home from South Carolina earlier this year. My wife and I moved there two years ago for jobs in the news business. Don't get me wrong...the area was great. But spending the holidays away from your family is rough. It's something both my wife and I hope we never have to experience again. So this Christmas...I'm thankful for many things - good health, a great job where I like my co-workers (be honest..sometimes that is hard to come by), a very supportive wife, and a loving family.
